What It Takes

I hate not having a girlfriend
I dont have any friends
I dont have cool shoes
or the latest trends

I dont know what it takes to be popular i wish i could find out
I\'ve never been popular in my life
or even know what it\'s about

They always say were ugly
and really smart
They say we dont shop at Aeropostal only at Wal-mart

I dont want be a nerd
I want to be popular just for one day just to feel what its like
or even what to say

So i tried being popular
I was really excited
And i turned out i didnt like it

I\'d rather be a nerd
and not be cool
get bad grades or drop out of school
