JUST A FRIEND

I know I’m not they only soul,
That love has denied.
But I’m loosing my control,
But my feelings still must hide!

I always ask why,
Am I always “just a Friend”?
Those three words make me want to cry,
And make me wish my life would end…

But I still hope,
That she’ll comprehend
That I need more,
Than “Your just a friend”

And if she did,
I would demonstrate,
Perpetual bliss,
Would be her fate!
