I want my friend back

I knew I had to let you go,
I couldn't lie anymore,
I'm sorry I lead you on,
I shouldn't of done that,
our friendship was so tight,
until I decieded to be your girl,
I wonder what would of happened,
if i would have said "no".
It was so hard to let you go,
but I had no choice,
I never loved you,
I just pretended to,
I could have never loved you,
as much as you loved me,
I know I caused you pain,
but my life isn't the same,
as it was when you were my best bud,
I still have love for you,
but not as much as you wished,
Truefully the minute we crossed the line,
into something more,
I changed my mind,
all I wanted was you as my friend,
but our friendship came to a end.

    Sucks when the friendship has to end...especially when ur feeling that if you had taken control then you would still have that friend...its hard to be friends with girls for me but its harder to KEEP as JUST friends with guys...
