Seasons

by applecheeks   Feb 4, 2004

My life can be compared to the seasons.
It’s always changing. It’s always something new.
Sometimes the storms of life can feel like a cold winter blizzard, lonely, and isolated. Seeming so dreary and gray. It feels like your mind could break at
Any moment. Then there are warmer times start to move in and slowly melts away the cold and the tension of life’s cruel cycle. When newness springs into play, flowers blossom, skies are blue, and the melodies of birds sweetly sing their praises of God’s goodness and new beginnings. Then gradually you move from the tranquil freshness and move into the really hot times, the fiery times of life. When it feels like the darts of fire are piercing your heart, soul and mind. You long for a break in the temperature, but no relief is in sight. You have to be strong, carry on, and remember that this to shall pass. Pray it through to the next season. Once again change comes into your life, just when you felt you couldn’t weather the last storm. A quietness falls upon you and in the stillness you hear a voice calling out to you, reminding you that your never alone no matter what storm life deals you. You can hear God quietly whisper as you look into the sky, “There is always a rainbow after the rain!”
