Shattered apart

The way your lips touched mine,
As you looked into my eyes.
My legs were going weak,
As I thought I was going to die.

Your kiss gave me butterflies,
Your eyes looked through my soul.
The way you held my waste,
Made my whole life seem full.

As you kissed me down my neck,
I had shivers up my spine.
The whole world surrounding me,
All I could think about was you being mine.

You pushed away my hair,
and slipped off my shirt.
I thought we'd be together,
I didn't know I'd end up hurt.

I didn't understand,
What was going to happen.
As I walked away from you, saying bye,
You smiled to wards me, as I melted inside.

You had once told me you loved me,
You had once thought the same.
That we would last a lifetime,
And we'd be together again.
