Balcony

by Emily   Apr 14, 2006

The Balcony At Midnight
Yes you look so grand
A shadow in the moonlight
Come and Grasp my hand

Hear the music playing
Dance slowly to the beat
The Midnight children are praying
That Dawn won't take their seat

You and I'll go Dancing
Surrounded in Ivy-covered Charm
Yes, the Magic is Just starting
So Cost-Free from harm..

God was probably grinning
When we were renting time
"Let loose in the Beauty.
And pay back your dues and fines."

Let loose for just one second
Let yourself just fly
Then you'll be in Heaven
On this Balcony of mine

__

I would adore a balcony moment.

Wow! I really like this a lot. It was really, um I don't really know how to describe it, but the word that comes to my mind is soft. It is just really pretty to my ears and it reaches the heart. Very good work.

This was so exhilerating and enchanting and romantic for me. It felt more like a love poem for me but you were so in touch with the nature it could have gone either way.
    Nice stuff...
