Complications

by Victoria Woods   Apr 14, 2006

I\'ve always wanted to fall in love,
I\'ve never been before.
A time when you walk on clouds in the sky,
Who could ask for more?

My mom once said:
\'it\'s not like that, It comes with complications\'
I said to mom: \'what does that mean?\'
She said: \'I\'ll tell you later\'

But now that I\'m older, I\'m almost 6.
I asked my mom to tell me.
She said: 'Its when things don\'t go to plan,
You\'ll have to wait and see\'

Well yesterday, I met a boy called Nev,
He said he liked my lunch box.
It was a Barbie one, so I knew he would,
But he also liked my socks!

Tomorrow I\'ve got to see him,
But today he wasn\'t at school.
My mommy said: \'where was Nev today?\'
\'Complications\' I said \'you fool!\'
