Winter's Worth

by Dwain   Feb 4, 2004

In winter’s wonderful world
My feelings often swirl
Your hair bound in curls
I’m stuck in this dream world

Spring swings with sound
A never-ending frown
Your smile held upside down
The last good thing about this town

Summer starts to sizzle
My eyes begin to drizzle
I’ve found pieces to this puzzle
Your voice I’d like to muffle

The fresh feeling of fall
Yet thoughts still stand tall
You’re set above all
At your feet I crawl

Wicked winter’s wasteland
Has brought me where I stand
I’ve circled there, and back again
The horizon never ends
