I'll Be Watching, I'll Be Waiting

by Autumn   Apr 15, 2006

When I have fled this earthly body,
When this heart has beat its last,
I'll be watching, and I'll know when you're naughty,
And I'll be waiting, when you have past

I'm gone, but I know I won't be left in the ground,
I'll be alive in you, in your memories today,
I'll send you memories, in my favorite sound,
I can't believe you didn't hear me when I say

I'm gone, I know,
I'm an angel now in heaven,
I'm watching over you, so,
I'll be with you when you turn seven

When you say your last goodbye,
You can't understand I'm gone,
You turn and with a sigh,
"Grandma, for you I sing a song."
