Dear Endless Rapture

Dear Endless Rapture,
In the moonlight, I meet you, in a grove of the pine trees made from faeries. The stars sing an enchanting melody that haunts the very deepest part of my being. I have a bottle of sparkling champagne, to celebrate today, for today is my day of thanks to you. You arrive, majestic and brilliant among the green trees, but I see no face, no figure, I only feel your presence. However you have an aura of power, one I can see will never, ever fade. I wish I can touch you, and thank you from the bottom of my heart, for all those heartfelt words you say to me. Instead, I ask that you sit next to me, and you do, hovering like a golden spirit surrounded by a silver veil. I gently pour the champagne for you in a crystal of glass, crafted by the angels of the forest. We clink together the glasses in perfect harmony, proclaiming our endless kinship. We smile and I let the cool champagne awaken the soul within me. As you drink your champagne, you glow with an aura of warmth and passion. You take form, slowly, and your body begins to form, but I wake up from that beautiful dream before your face takes form. The bed I'm in is warm, but my heart is cold. But I wipe the tears away, smiling. Even though I don't know your name, don't know your age, don't know you at all, I thank you for that one moment you occupied my dreams, and shared a moment of pure kindness. Thank you. I love you too.
