You said you wouldn't hurt me,
You said you wouldn't lie,
But both of these you have done,
And i really need to know why,

Why do you have no time for me,
It's easier to tell me the truth,
Don't string me along,
Don't give me false hope,
Don't do what you said you never would,

I thought you were too good for me,
I thought you were in a higher league,
And it felt so good to think you would,
Want to be with me,

But they were just lies,
Lies you told,
To get me to do things your way,
But now i'm sure the pain you've caused,
Will come back to haunt you one day.
