I tell myself you mean nothing to me,
I make myself believe,
But when it comes to seeing you,
My heart manages to deceive,

Why do you do this to me,
The games that you play,
You say that you want to be with me,
But then you stay away,

I don't understand you,
You make me so confused,
You act as though you're in love with me,
But leave me feeling bruised,

I know that we're not seeing each other,
Although that is where i would like to be,
