Where to Go

by Little Dot   Apr 17, 2006

The world is falling apart
Mountains turning to rumble
Oceans drying up

You are running out of oxygen
What are you going to do
As the world falls apart

You are the only one here
Where is the rest of the world
There is no life anywhere

It's you against everything else
There is no where to run
There is no where to hide

The world is no more
You are slowly dying
Your lungs are about to explode

You feel your heart beats faster
As it runs out of blood to pump
You are in a panic

It's the end of the world
You are totally alone
Everyone else has already gone

Your body is numb
You are so cold
You fall to your knees

With your last gasping breath
You watch in disbelief
As the world turns into dust

The second last stanza you wrote 'boby' instead of 'body' thought you might want to fix that.

The world will end sometime, because nothing is forever. Humans will be the one to destroy it. I agree with this poem. Good stuff.
