As I laid there watching you
walk away from me I wanted
to scream "Look at me!" But
my lips would not part,
no sound would come. No one
to rescue me from my pain.

I watched as you cried and
wipe your tears away so
gracefully. You laid a hand
on my cheek and whispered I
love you. I wanted to scream

I heard sweet soft music as
Angels began to sing. Suddenly
a man appeared by my side and
closed the lid to my coffin. I wanted to scream "Look at me!"
