Alone no more

Early hours of Morning haze
Times of dreaming distantly fades
Waking suddenly to morning sounds
Of rushing rain pouring down

Mind that wonders to and fro
Thoughts as cold as winter snow
How to get past another day
Trying to find the easiest way

Heart that embraces every being
Endless rivers of agony streaming
This heart handed over for many yards
Finding it now growing very hard

Soul that was open for every event
Suddenly now being totally spent
Fighting to keep the spirit alive
Wanting to leave the body behind

Broken in pieces like shards of glass
Trying to forget and leave the past
Walking a road toward a future
Uncertainty being the ultimate torture

Feeling the end is far from close
Accepting reality a depressive dose
No being could hide from this very ghost
Realizing no reason to be the host

To give up now on this difficult season
Pain and struggle not being a reason
Knowledge unveiled a purpose was sent
Just like metal needing to be bent

I lay my life down in your hands
As you are my saviour and it stands
Why an unworthy like me He chose
Only you our Heavenly Father will ever know
