Lonely

by Andrea broken tears   Apr 18, 2006

She sits there
Day after day
Minute by minute
Hour by hour
All alone in the corner
She watches the sky
The world going bye
But still she cries.
No one sees her
They may walk by
But she’s only a memory.
Everyday she wishes
She could be
Be someone like all the other girls
She sees them with their boyfriends
She sees them with their friends
But still she sits in the corner
With those tears in her eyes knowing
That will never be her.
And everyday when she goes home
She gets ready for another
Day like the last
So
Day after day
Minute by minute
Hour by hour
She sits.
