Cowardliness

Cowardliness

She’s staring at you with fear in her eyes
She’s staring at you wondering why
She said she just wanted to be friends but that wasn’t good enough
You snuck up behind she had no clue
Now she’s wondering why you had to be a coward

She’s screaming for help but no ones listening
She’s asking you why but you just ignore her
You left her there and she’s feeling ashamed

SHE’S CRYING AND SHE’S LOSING HER MIND
YOU’RE LYING, DENYING IT EVER TOOK PLACE
YOU SMILE AT HER LIKE IT WAS ALL A JOKE
AS SHE MELTS TO THE FLOOR LIKE SHES NOT EVEN A PERSON
SHE’S STILL CRYING OUT SIDE BUT SHE’S DYING INSIDE
AND IT’S ALL BECAUSE YOU HAD TO BE A COWARD
