Bitter story

by Alicia   Apr 19, 2006

She hides from the world she knows,
Faking her smile, and laughing on cue,
But the terror inside her grows,
Still, after hiding it, you'd never know she lied to you,

Lively on the outside, dead on the inside,
She is the master of disguise,
You'd never know that at night she cried,
You'll never know, you're all caught in her lies,

She dances with the one called death,
But it's he who she fears the most,
She is afraid she's going to be left,
She has nothing over which to boast,

A bitter smile graces her face,
It figures that she is alone,
Now she will disappear without a trace,
No one will wait for her to come home,
