I'm watching you slip away

by Michaela   Apr 19, 2006

I\'m watching you slip away Day after day
I try to ignore it but its there.
The indecision of whether or not i know you...
Whether or not i want to..Anymore..
Innocent laughs and popsicle stained smiles
Embedded forever in my existence
Shifting forward...looking back
All i see is endless hours of dreaming Hours of make-belive.
How simple and unmaterialistic it was
All that is gone.
I watch as my memories of all these years are burnt.
Flames mirror in my eyes.
And so do you.
I see ur life destroyed.
But ur choosing this destiny.
Ive offered you my tears.
My watered down dreams...You\'ve pushed them away.
Scarring me, leaving me with nothing
But to watch from a short distance
As you die unknowingly.
