I was briefly sexually abused. The poem I asked you to read in return for reading this is about the hints of past abuse I went through. I know what it's like to have few people want to believe you and others assist you're making something worse out of nothing. I wish people could look in victims eyes and see the truth.

This poem was full of imagery in such short lines. It was powerful and suspenful and makes you want to protect the poor girl and prove the boy as guilty. You seem like a good friend.

This poem was sad, it was a poem i can relate to, not in the sense of being raped but few people believing something. I hate that when people dont believe you.

This is a very powerful peice, the imegry and description are brilliant adding real strength to the peice. it flows well and the structure is good,. but the content is amazing. the way the peice progesses is also fantastic, the suspence generated causing hte reader to be totally absobed. overall a brilliant peice

I like the ambiguity that carries on throughout the poem....it's very different and I found it so cunning the angle you took on so sensitive a topic...nicely done....very sad ending...

A very good poem, about an oh so sad, and so unfotunately common reoccurence.

Far to many people are abused and not believed, either by friends, or by the system.

I think you handled it wonderfuly, everythig was there that should be.
All in all a great piece of work.

I hope your friend can somehow put it behin her and move on as best as is possible!

I can totally relate to this poem. It's so sad but so wonderfully expressed. You are a true friend and that is the most important thing. He should get life! It happened to me by someone I knew not long ago and not many believed me so yes I understand. Well done, Keep it up :)

Powerful message

It's hard to sit by and watch a loved one or friend go through this. My sister was brutally raped and left to die; however we were fortunate that a nosey lady saw her being carried and dumped. He was caught - given 7 years - served about 3 - while she meanwhile was in and out of the hospital for 5 years undergoing numerous repair surgeries. Life at times isn't fair, but we learn to cope and I often draw strength from how tall and proud she walks today. Nice write.

I just...i just. wow. This one hits so close to home for me, and i feel terribly sorry for your friend. But please help her remember this, he is now labeled as a rapist, even if he was proven innocent.

To write of such a subject is always a hard one, i admire your courage for writing this for your friend, who i send my love. A 'great' write, telling a heartbreaking story and sadly a story so many people go through. Again, well done for writing this.

That was a really awesome dedication. Probably one of the best I've come across in a long time. Very sad story, and it's ashame it had to be true. You are a good friend for being her support. Also, you are a good writer, and you should keep on writing!
