Fading

by Tom Baker   Apr 20, 2006

You brought hope to my lonely heart
You brought a lovely child to my Childress less life
You brought passion and lust to my craving soul
You brought love to my bleeding heart
As the years past, I feel us fading

I no longer see your smiling face
I no longer feel your warm hands holding mind
I no longer hear your heart beating against mind
I no longer here you tell me that you love me
I no longer feel the passion and lust that we once had
We a fading and it hurts my heart so deeply

You once use to come to my bedside and cuddle for hours
You once use to look into my eyes
You once use to believe in me
You once use to talk the night away
You once use to respect me
We are fading and it hurts so badly knowing what we had once is gone

We have grown apart for each other
We have lost the feel of love
We have gone our separate ways
We have lost the light in our eyes
We have lost the fire in our hearts
We are fading slowly as the fire flickers with its last breathe

I am not sure if I love you anymore
I am not sure if we are meant to be as one
I am not if we can reunite the passion of love
I am not sure if we can love again

We are fading way into lonely darkness apart from each other...
