What's happening here? Do you know?
Why can't we change things
And make people better?
Not even compassion we show.

Things changed since we were all created,
And nothing good we did
So the world could be like we waited.

I keep thinking to myself,
How can this be?
We create something good,
And later nothing is left to see.

I don't want to see the war,
I don't want to hear the screams,
When in people's eyes there are so many dreams.

So I dream that we don't get to the end,
I dream that we won't die.
Do you think we can change something?
Please, don't lie!

    I agree, Great Poem, I feel the same way and write the same way, i wrote a few about Society, makes ya wonder why this world is so voilent and no one trys to do anything about it, but i guess theres nothing we can do, Well great write :) Keep writtin you have alot of Talent :)
