Don't cry mommy

by Tye   Apr 21, 2006

Mommy don't cry, don't shed a tear.
I know I could've been into Barbie dolls,
but instead I was waiting for booty calls.

When I could've been getting A's and B's on my report card,
I was stressing over guys with a car.

And yeah, I talked about my first date,
but I was really worrying why my period was late.

Don't blame yourself for not knowing because I wouldn't never told you if you asked,
mommy I'm sorry if your baby girl is growing entirely to fast.

You would never believe I love you mommy, me being nice and naive,
I be straight just trusting your faith in me.

I ruined a good name, but I bought you things,
you know I live without the knowledge of knowing that I am truly ashame.

Don't cry mommy,
that's all I ask you, besides asking you to switch places with me.

Please mommy don't weep,
for a lost soul will remove your faith and trust in me because I am truly sorry,
don't cry mommy.
