Her Skiped Moment

by Kayd   Apr 22, 2006

Waiting along the lines
Of light and that of dark;

She sits patiently aware
Aiming for her mark;

Life lessons turned askew
Backfired and burning lust;

Dark eyes and blackened faces
Masking her in the dusk;

Making moves within the wicked
She kills for the feel;

Her heart broken and bruised
While angels pray and kneel;

Cursed she is to live this life
Expected what to do;

Become the perfect daughter...
She runs to jump... and flew;

Out the yonder window
To alcohol and drugs;

Beating off the accounts
Crusted mold and vile bugs;

She is who she wants
Taking tolls upon herself;

Marking up her arm
Without room she seeks the shelf;

Jagged bolts jut out
Silver and perfect without flaw;

Tightening the noose
Snapping at her jaw;

One silent moment passes
She doesn't care just how;

As her last breathing fades
Time skips her moment now.
