I can't believe what happened,
To you this very day,
Why didn't I notice?
Why didn't I start to pray?

We visited you on Sunday,
You didn't seem "too" bad,
We didn't think at all,
We'd feel so quickly sad.

You said that you felt bad,
And said that you had pain,
But still I didn't realize,
I'd soon be crying once again.

Why did it have to go that fast?
Why couldn't I say good-bye?
Why did you have to go that soon?
And make me start to cry?

I wish I could have said good-bye,
To you my dear Grandma,
But now the distance between us,
Is just too very far.

You can't believe what I would give,
Just to say good-bye,
To tell you that I love you,

I wish I could hold your hand again,
And tell you you'll be ok,
Tell you you're the best,
There were so many things I wanted to say.

I wish I could turn back time,
And visit you just once again,
