Thunderstorm

by The Spirit of Ash   Apr 24, 2006

So powerful, so affective, so heart frightening
So dreadful, so scary, with its strike of lightening

The noises, chaos, the booming of loud thunder
The anger, the pounding, the catastrophic wonder

The winding the whirling, mixed with bright flashes
Everywhere I look, dangerous static clashes

I feel the raindrops pour down my cheek
I wipe them away, but they continue to leak

They don't taste as crystal, as they are clear
That's when I realize, these are salted tears

A thriving thunderstorm is all that I see
Depression and fear, is all that is me
