Mirror,mirror

by Caitlin   Apr 24, 2006

Mirror, mirror on the wall,
Tonight lets pick another flaw.
Right on time for our daily date,
Where to start with what I hate.
Reflected is a melancholy face,
Hidden from the human race.
But the mirror doesnâ??t lie,
The fear is real behind my eye.
I see the effects the words bring,
Leaving me with more blood to wring.
Pleading with God every night,
Let me die I donâ??t want to fight.
Plagued by darkness alone I can see,
The mirror holds me and wonâ??t let me free.
Desperately trying to be something Iâ??m not,
Pleading that tomorrow my problems are forgot.
I leave the darkness with a plastered smile,
And enter a world based on denial.
