I wish you'd thought about the words
you didn't mean to say
I wish you'd though before you said
I should probably stay away
I wish you'd thought about the tears
that fell for you that night
I wish you'd thought about your fears
then maybe we'd be alright
I wish you'd thought about my heart
now it's broken up in two
I wish you'd thought about my love
how devoted I was to you
I wish you'd thought about my dreams
for you are all I see
I wish you'd thought about my 'now'
Now that we are no longer 'we'
I wish, I wish alot of things
that can't be taken back
and try to list the stupid things
to use against you in attack
but then I stop and think some more
and the wish it isn't new
I wish I'd thought to say
that I'm in love with you.
