Worn Down

Worn Down

Pummeled
in static burst
forces outside invading
life pounding in
as a wave crashing smacking rocks
water being dragged on through
slowly works on solid mass
it’s strength
bit by bit worn away
unnoticed to the naked heart
by constant pounding every day
smoothes it smaller than at first
pummeled
by static burst of life
wears one down
so slowly.

A great take on how day to day life wears us down, but how the rough edges can be smoothed. I always try to find a bit of light in every poem, so you'll have to excuse my interpretation.
    Cheers!
