Missing You

by Ymmanzel   Apr 26, 2006

I feel the silence of the night,
Hearing the sound of the vehicles and crickets.
The cold wind asks me,
Is it your heart I hear beating?
The loud thump, thump, thump in your chest?
I hear it as I defy the pain.
Oh! I feel sorry for myself.
Can’t you stop making me miss you this much?

Hey Computer! Can you tell me if she misses me too?
And you, Stereo Speaker, if I turn you on,
Can you tell her what I feel?!
I’m a crazy little statue who doesn’t know what to do…
An effigy made by your love and trust,
Sitting and waiting for you.

The night is getting old and I can’t still figure it out.
Tears still fall my face, I miss you so much.
Why can’t I still hear my phone ring?
I’ve been waiting…

I can’t believe how quickly life had turned around.
This mosquitoes bit me like the bite of each time that passes.
It stings and it sucks my soul dry.
I think I need to take a rest for now.
Because tomorrow will also be a day missing you.
