Oh how I miss you You left us oh so soon Oh how I miss you I hope to see you soon I wrote you a letter Maybe two So you know just how I feel When you are drinking behind the wheel of a car After you told me you burned them I gave up on you Started drinking in the afternoon Drunk by midnight Sometimes noon Then you wrote us a letter But it did not sound like you You would have an Old Milwaukee I would have a Mountain Dew Oh how I miss you Left us oh so soon Oh how I miss you I know you miss me too Used to go watch the sunset And you would say You know I love you And I love you too Sat me down for a talk Telling me your heart was due I did not understand It was all up to you Then you pulled the trigger And it was through I wished you gave me A better clue to What you were about to do Oh how I miss you You left us oh so soon Oh how I miss you My brother and sisters do too We used to go eat at the bar Now I just play my guitar that is all over now Try to ease the pain of who we are Try to change the past Never get very far Cannot heal that scar That scar that cut me Oh so deep Oh yes it did So deep it hurt Now I am writing this poem for you Hoping it will get me through My days without you That is what I got to do We would laugh We would cry But I never thought you would say goodbye I never thought I would have to go through my life Without you on my side So I guess I will just say goodbye Just say goodbye Just say goodbye for now But I will see you When I die Author: Alex Kreger
