The Last Line is The Song Title

The Last Line is The Song Title

How can I hold you
When my hands are broken
How can I kiss you
When my lips still linger with betrayal

With a cold stare and a loss of innocence
Shamed eyes look upon the one who strays
While my eyes wander wayward as my body lays
It's last lie upon the alter of self indulgence

Bringing new meaning to humiliation
Serenade me with your song of disaster
Though it was my hands that brought the devastation
You brought this upon yourself

...Gouge out my eyes
Purse my lips
I'll still hear your sighs
When my hand slips

Breathe, I'll be there to suffocate you
Don't worry you won't go unnoticed
I'll plaster my heart with your pictures
But I'll cut out your face
Because I can erase and replace

Serenade me still with a song of disaster
Rhyme your reason
Promise me there are easier ways to die faster
When I commit treason

...Gouge out my eyes
Purge my lips
Rip out the tongue that lies
As my hand slips again you will go unnoticed and undone

But the words are still pouring from what's left of my heart
Straight from my tongue to the one who is falling apart

Something so long can only cause insanity
And believe me we can hide behind our vanity
No longer than these words can continue.
