Method in Madness

by *Cosmic*Whispers*   Apr 27, 2006

Her heartache flows in salty streaks
Crystallized upon her cheeks
All alone but the floor still creaks
A stranger cloaked in dark mystique

Skeletons held in closets dark
She's a walking shell without life's spark
Engraved in her wrist is the devils mark
Alone in a journey she's been forced to embark

Tired of the lies she can't help but say
Scared of the truth she's kept so long at bay
Can still hear her heart as she's running away
The cold thud of a toy that was broken in play

She drinks like that cause She longs to confide
She walks like that cause she can't run and hide
She smiles like that Cause of tears that she's cried
There's a Method in Madness that can't be denied
