Where would I be?

Sometimes, i wish i never met you,
but then where would i be,
never would have loved so true,
or have all these memories,

What we had , it wasn't perfect,
is there such a thing,
i thought it was close to it,
never knew the pain it would bring,

you turned into someone different,
a person i never thought you could be,
i tried to change you back,
but all the trying only changed me,

You taught me a lot of lessons,
I'm a new person because of you,
so i ask again,
where would i be if i never met you?
