Don't you remember
those days we were young
our forgotten dreams
who we wanted to be

it seems so long ago
when all we wanted
was to laugh and play
those are the forgotten days

now we have opened our eyes
we see pain, suffering
war in a far off land
the end of our world

we have been lied to
cheated on, trust broken
we care no more
for our forgotten dreams

now our only dream
is to escape reality
we drink, we smoke
take drugs to forget

we barely go on
with our monotonous lives
now we lie, cheat
break their trust

we are the youth
who lost their innocence
