An honest man is a poor man

by hannah   Apr 28, 2006

Think about the others
When you're sitting in your chair
Think of all the poverty
As you comb your long blonde hair
Try to see yourself
In the anguish they go through
When they're scrubbing dirty toilets
So they pay debt back to you

They don't want your pity
They just want your respect
But a rich man just wants more and more
Its what he can expect
In a world where waters free for those who waste it down the drain
Yet the ones who have to pay for it are starving and in pain.
So when you turn your kettle on to make your cup of tea
And you think of all the bills to pay and what's on the TV
Spare a thought for those who work and strive from day to day
In a country that's deprived of wealth, damaged, lead astray.
