Thirteen years I have lived

How blessed I am
To have lived so long
And have so much
Friends have been there
For so many years
Helping
Supporting
Giving hugs
Why me
Why not the thousands of kids who die
Before they are even 10
Why do I live and not them
Don't know why
Just have to trust, I guess
