Dont say youre something your not, dont say you do something you dont. People say theyre emo, but do they even know? They say emo people cut themselves, and thats right, some do. Take me for example, cutting used to be my thing, then it got old and really stupid. People at school say theyre emo, when they live a perfect life. But they will never truly understand what being emo really is. Dont ever say your acting emo, cuz you either are emo or you arent. People saying theyre emo when theyre not, thats like me saying Im black, far from the truth. I know people might think Im screwed up, yet theyve never tried to know me. If they would stop for a second then maybe theyd see, its emo people like me who no one is willing to try to understand. What they need to realize is, life isnt perfect for everyone, not even them. But, you cant say your emo unless youve already seen, what its like to cut, what its like to be abused, what is like to have no one notice you, what its like to be treated like shit, what its like to want to die! Ive always told myself that Id never be suicidal, well look at me now its one big recital. I dont have to explain myself, so why am I trying? I thought that maybe if I tried to tell the world, then people would react different to the word emo. Im telling you now its not a phase or some little act, its real life as a matter of fact. I laugh to hide the tears, say Im thinking when Im asked whats wrong, even though Im on the brink of breaking down and crying, I play it off and no one pays attention.
Because I keep it all inside, now it seems its time to cry, my friends try to pry it out of me, my family tries to fight it out of me, I cant tell a soul of my life, if I try my life will collide and fall at my sides. And this is me being emo, now you see. Got any questions dont try asking me!
