A Love Story

by Kayla   Apr 29, 2006

A lonely girl all lost inside.
Her broken heart unhealed.
Her problems made up who she was.
Her wall of steal sealed.

Her broken smile hid her fears.
There was no sparkle in her eyes.
But then along came Mr. Right,
Who rid her of these lies.

When tears would fall he'd be right there,
To wipe them from her face.
He let her do things on her own,
A slow but steady pace.

All the while he stayed right there,
To catch her when she fell.
His love for her was oh so strong,
That ever she began to tell.

Soon enough her knees fell weak,
And her wall began to fall.
She gazed into his dreamy eyes,
And knew she had it all.

He made her laugh and brought her joy.
And everyone could see.
He made her realize who she was,
And all that she could be.

He brought her strength and gave her love,
That no one else could give.
No longer did she die inside.
She knew that she could live.

His hand held hers forever,
And their hearts remained entwined.
Never did that sad girl think,
A love like this she'd find.

But all along it was right there,
Arms outstretched and waiting.
Soon enough she'd catch on,
Once she stopped debating.

Her heart's now healed from all his love
And there's a sparkle in her eye.
She knew he wasn't leaving her.
She would never hear goodbye
