Her Disguise

by [x♥x] ohh la la   Apr 29, 2006

You'd never know at night she cries,
Except for looking in her sad blue eyes.
She ignores her feelings during the day,
But at night all her strength goes away.

She holds back the tears with a laugh and a smile,
All the time wondering, if her pain is worthwhile.
She searches for a way to let the pain go,
Knowing eventually, it all starts to show.

Laughter is her comfort, smiles are her lies,
Perfect hair, perfect make-up complete her disguise.
She looks into the mirror, puts on another brave face,
Hoping that maybe, she'll finally find her place.
