She's scared, can't you see?

She holds back her tears,
She pretends she has no more fears.
She tells people she isn't lying.
But deep down inside they all know she's crying.
She wonders if there's anyone.
Who knows what it's like to do what she's done.
Anyone out there who understands her ways.
And sticks by her through all the tough days.
she sits alone in the only room she knows.
A small tiny box with a bunch of clothes.
She has so much to learn.
And has nothing there for her to earn.
she thinks about her life.
Then takes a long deep glance and the shinny knife.
She grabs it and shakes.
She has no clue what it's going to take.
She's scared of it all.
She's scared she's gonna slip and fall.
She can't look them in the eye.
Or they might catch her little lie.
The one she said she wouldn't do.
But she has to tell them what she's going through.
She can't manage to find what to say.
So she goes on lying each and everyday.
She lost them, it's true.
So now she needs someone to look up to.
