Amazing Grace

As you lay there on the floor thinking you cant get up
Push yourself harder and think of the ones you love
For getting up when your down and out is something rare
Not a lot of people can do it, some don't even dare

When your faced with problems that seem to big and strong
Look at it in the eye and prove it wrong
Blood and Sweat may be spilled as you cry for agony
But always remember that it cant stop you from your destiny

AS tears roll down your face and you feel all is lost
Just look at the light and think of the man that died on the cross
He went through the same suffering and probably more
He died for our sins so that we can live forevermore

Rain starts to fall and wash away the pain
You start to get up and feel no strain
The rain you felt was help from above
As they saw your agony and decided to show some love

Your eyes speak of fire and your strength like a bear
You scream to your lungs and let it know your still there
Lunging forward with all your might
Striking it once and knocked it clean out of sight

Going down on both knees and panting for breath
Knowing that you conquered something close to death
Your eyes start watering up and you begin to shake
thinking what would;ve happened to you if he hadn't kept you safe

So the next time you think that everything is in disarray
Go to a room and start to pray
Ask for knowledge when your feeling dumb
As for Strength when you've been overcome

For sure he'll answer your prayers not all at once
But sooner or later you'll feel his presence as he comes
A wonderful feeling like the wind on your face
Watching over you with Amazing Grace
