Mum where were u

by gemma   Apr 30, 2006

Mum, well u call your self that,
even though u were never there.
i have been dragged down,
but got back up,
even though u were not there.

All these years,
when i have needed help,
you were never there.
All the other girls and boys,
have a mum.
But mines never there.

When people ask me,
"does your mum have a partner",
i cant answer.
i feel ashamed to say,
the truth about you,
you and you partner.

You've left me for years,
never tried to get in contact,
you've called me your mistake,
nothing else can hurt me more,
than what you've already done.

All those nights i have sat up crying,
wishing you were here.
But now when i think,
about you leaving me,
I'm glad your gone,
and not spoken to me anymore,
at least you can cause me,
no more pain.

the tears i have cried,
the bully i have received,
is all thanks to u.
So you call yourself a mother,
but no mother cause there kids.
this much pain and hurt.

now its my turn,
I'm not your mistake.
you are mine.
I wish that my dad had never met you,
your not my mother,
and never will be again.

From now on,
your nothing to do with me.
Just like you always used to wish,
Well now MUM your wish came true,
I'm finally gone!
