Alone with My Thoughts

***wrote a few months ago, but lost and just now found***

Alone with my thoughts
Such a scary place to be
Like a maze with only dead ends
No way out within my reach

Searchin' for a sign
Somethin' to show
But within these walls I call my mind
There’s nowhere to go

Loosin' the highs n lows
Just slowly becoming numb
Only way to let me know I'm here
Is to just watch the blood flow

Alone with my thoughts
My own prison that I’ve made
Searching for a way out
A way to leave this pain

Alone with my thoughts
Such a scary place to be
But like a maze with only dead ends

Goin' round in circles
Becoming more and more lost
Like a tiny ship on a raging sea
I'm being tossed

Alone with my thoughts
Here I am again
All alone as I cry myself to sleep
All alone until the bitter end.
