Who or what is perfect these days?
The prettiest? The smartest? Or are there other ways?
Perfect, you tell me, I don't have to be
But when I look in the mirror I hate what I see.
I know I don't have the perfect body or perfect hair,
If I know this is true then why do I still care?
I'll never look like them or do what they can do,
I'll always remain the same, unfortunate, yet true.
Whether it's pretty, or smart, or thin as can be,
Perfect, I know will never be me.

*For all the ladies out there who know how it feels to be "less than adequate." To constantly feel like you have to match up to everyone else.
