Sitting in the endless world of darkness
the light never to be found
searching for something that will always be losed
open your eyes if you can
look and see what you have done
wipe the tears from your eyes
you try to hide it but you can't
you smear the blood up off the floor
throw the knife in your drawer
pull down your sleeves and
walk to the door
pretend that nothing happened
put a fake smile on
twist the door knob
and walk further into the darkness
