Goodbye

by Jamie   Apr 30, 2006

I've never wanted this
So hollow what we miss
You should be tried by this
Can't swallow what we miss

Repeating, I'm inside
You suck up tears I've cried
I tried hard but we died
We fall down, run and hide

The memory won't let go
The tears shed, you won't know
This way I've torn, fails to show
The pain I've bled pushed far below

I'm shifting and sifted
Through ashes, forgiveness
Held high, uplifted
Say goodbye, all of this

Clothes stripped down, lie awake
I've never, tried to take
What kills you, for your sake
In the end, my mistake

One final goodbye to
Your flaws, I loved you
You played me, play untrue
Lies fog, can't see through

To your heart, to your fright
Attention, loss shines bright
To take back, wrong or right
Give myself, for tonight

It's all done, frustration
No burning, vibration
I've lost my foundation
Cut off my salvation

It's the end
To you and I
Don't want to
Say goodbye
