Deaths the way she went

by *-*InLove:-)*-*   May 2, 2006

Staring at that mirror,
She's so hurt inside,
Can't see it, with that fake smile,
You see it on her arms she hides.

Once upon a time
This girl knew how to smile,
She knew how to laugh and be happy,
But now being happy takes a while.

She has lost her laugh.
She smiles with her scars.
Her knife brings her happiness,
She feels like she's behind bars.

She is so lonely,
Her friends have left her,
They couldn't help her anymore,
Her knife is the one that loves her.

She sees all this
In just one reflection,
It pains her to look,
She looks in a different direction,

Tears roll down her face,
She brought this on herself,
Its all her fault that she has nobody,
So she grabs her knife off the shelf.

Still staring at that mirror,
She cuts her arms the deepest ever,
The blood starts to run free,
She's given up, forever.

Her knees weaken,
She starts to shake,
Deeper and deeper she cuts,
A smile appears, this one is not fake.

This girl ended her lonely life,
In front of her own reflection,
She saw herself fall to the floor,
And with death she made a connection.
