Dancing Without Music

by Rylee   May 2, 2006

Take my hand,
Look me in the eye,
Hold me close,
And tell me a lie,
Step by step,
Stride by stride,
As we dance without music,
All through the night.

The only beats we have,
Is the sound of my heart,
A tear rolls down,
Knowing the pain's about to start,
So do it already,
Make me cry,
As we dance without music,
All through the night.

The pain is worth it,
Just to see you smile,
I would give up everything,
Just to be with you for awhile,
And I'm experiencing pain and love,
The main essence of life,
As we dance without music,
All through the night.

Since it seems you forgot,
All the memories we share,
A tear constantly falls,
To remind you what was really there,
So please for the last time,
Tell me a lie,
As we dance with the music,
Of our final goodbye.

(it's not the greatest poem, but it's really how I feel..)
