Fading Fast

I am fading fast not knowing what happened.
I look around and see so many people that do not know.
I am fading faster not seeing what happened.
These people know nothing of me.
I am fading at speeds I cannot tell.
They stand there dazed, not knowing what they say.
I am fading, and all that is there is a bell.
Do they even care that I am going?
I am fading soon to be gone.
The darkness finally takes me.
I am fading almost gone.
The heart once open now closed to all.
I am fading, and I shut my eyes.
I am now gone, and no one cares.
